NEW BEGINNINGS
After 3 ½ years as a Construction Superintendent with Mercedes Homes, a down-turn in the housing market caused the company to downsize and lay-off many good workers. Unfortunately for Jim Adams, his friends and co-workers will not be able to find re-employment in this field for quite some time.
Jim and his wife knew this time would eventually arrive, and about 3 months ago, decided to take action. They incorporated and began putting together a Home Theater installation company.
Not only will they install home theater systems, including big-screen tv's and projection tv systems, but whole home audio systems, alarm systems, and lighting. They will do single/multiple room designs and new homes starting at the frame stage.

SALE OF HOME BRINGS IN OVER $150,000 TO CHARITIES
Local Realtors, contractors and the generous gift of a property owner help raise over $150,000 for several charities.
Months ago RE/MAX Elite's McCoy-Freeman Group took a listing at 337 Coral Dr. in Cape Canaveral They were then told the late Owner, Dr. Wyatt E. Winters, left the proceeds of the sale of the home to several of his favorite charities.
The group agreed to donate their commission in memory of Dr. Winters to the Children's Miracle Network. The home built in 1963 required major renovations and Rob Donovan of Total Home Contractors agreed to donate his time & resources to help raise the property's value.
Over the last few months many local Volunteers did their best to improve the home. Due to lack of major donations, the crew finished what they could and the home was then listed.
"We had a multiple offer situation where two separate Buyers were trying to out-bid each other," said Bobby Freeman.
This week a $3,600 check in memory of Dr. Winters was presented by RE/MAX Elite's McCoy-Freeman Group to the Children's Miracle Network in Orlando. |

SAVE A DOG
 Coastal Poodle Rescue rehabilitates unwanted, abused and abandoned poodles and then places them in loving and responsible homes to live out their lives as cherished family members.
They ensure that each dog is spayed or neutered and examined by a veterinarian. They are placed in foster homes that provide love and patience to help the animals adjust before being adopted. Their stays in foster care vary from several days to several months, depending upon the dog's condition and needs.
Coastal Poodle Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. They are 100% volunteer-based, which means overhead costs are minimal and your donation is put to direct use for the good of the dogs. They do not receive government funds and are entirely supported by charitable donations.
